On this project I focused on UI/UX app development, and the topic I chose was to create a recipe sharing community, which I named “Savor.” This app would allow people interested in cooking, learning, and connecting with others to be able to share, comment, collaborate on different recipes made from people all over the world.

Learning Outcomes
I learned more about the user experience aspect of what design would lend itself to be the most optimal way a user be able to navigate through an app, as well as consistency of design throughout the project with the design system.

Today more and more people have access to social media, it is a good platform to be able to reach out to people and connect. For these Instagram ads I connect with influencers/bloggers to be able to bring people to the app in order to generate more users.

Brainstorming
During the process of creating this app, I had brainstormed the needs, wants and painpoints of my target market and translated that into potential features that would be most suitable for my users to use, and lastly refining those feature ideas into the most valuable painpoints that should be addressed and used as the final features of the app.
